Every exterior here is washed by hand. The wash sequence matters as much as the products: wheels first so brake dust doesn't land on clean paint, then a top-down wash and rinse, then drying with clean microfiber.

What to expect
- Washing and decontamination make paint smooth and reflective; they do not remove swirl marks or scratches.
- Wax adds protection and depth, but its life depends on weather, washing and how the vehicle is stored.
- Etching from bird droppings, hard-water spots or sun damage may remain, because correcting it requires polishing, which we don't offer.
- Clay bar treatment is recommended before wax when paint feels rough.
Common questions
What does a clay bar treatment actually do?
It pulls bonded contamination — industrial fallout, overspray, rail dust and road film — out of the clear coat. The paint feels smooth afterwards, and wax bonds better to it.
Do you offer paint correction or buffing?
No. Forged by Heart does not offer machine polishing, buffing or paint correction, so scratches and swirl marks are not removed.
What's the difference between spray wax and hand-applied wax?
Spray wax is applied during the wash stage and gives quick gloss and light protection. Hand-applied wax is worked into the paint by hand after decontamination and is included in the Forged Finish package.
Do you wash the engine bay?
Engine-bay cleaning is available from $35 and is included in Forged Finish. It's cosmetic cleaning — it doesn't include mechanical service.
